Brothers Allan and Denis Price started in the transport business 27 years ago with a small truck carting the grocery load from FAL to the family supermarket in West Busselton .In time they progressed to a 5 tonne truck and trailer. More and more people started to use the boys for their transport and so Busselton Freight was formed in 1984.

The purchase of the first prime mover in 1992 and building of a freight depot in the light industrial area was a major expansion.

Over the years the company has moved ahead with the times which has resulted in different divisions within the company. Freight depots in both Busselton and Maddington which are approximately 5000 square metres each - The depot in Maddington also has a 600 pallet wine store and cold store facility. The implementation of the IGA contract has resulted in a 3rd Depot based at IGA Warehouse in Canning Vale.

The family company own the West Busselton Shopping Centre where they operate The West Busselton Newsagency and 24 hour fuel along with the West Busselton Post Office and Donnas Cafe. Six specialty stores are under leasehold. This facility also houses Busselton Fresh IGA.

We subcontract to CD Dodds  in carting their scrap metal.

This was originally set up for the transport of Scrap Metal , cars and machinery from Southwest WA to Perth . Purpose built tippers and prime mover was added to the fleet for a contract transporting metal from Kalgoorlie to Perth.

The tippers were built in Perth by General Transport Equipment. The tippers have inbuilt scales, disc brakes and auto greasers. These purpose built units have a combined 125 cubic metre capacity. 

We also back load bulk mulch and manure to either Kalgoorlie or the Busselton / Bunbury area.
